More moments that matter. Less time at the screen.
How a new voice-enabled charting app is helping our caregivers spend more time with your loved one.
Introducing an Innovative Voice-Enabled Documentation Technology
At Bridgeway, we are focused on finding thoughtful ways to improve care delivery, support our caregivers, and enhance the overall experience for our residents and families. We are excited to announce that, beginning June 1, 2026, the skilled nursing team at our Bridgeway Hillsborough community will launch a new voice-enabled charting app in partnership with voize, an innovative healthcare technology company focused on improving senior healthcare documentation and communication.
This new technology will allow our nurses and caregivers to document care in real time using secure voice dictation integrated directly into our electronic medical record system. By simplifying documentation processes, less valuable time will be spent typing at a computer, and more time created for providing care, attention, and meaningful moments for your loved one.
As part of this transition, you may notice nurses, aides, or other clinical team members speaking into company-issued smartphones throughout the day. These voice recordings are being used strictly for clinical documentation purposes and are securely processed within our healthcare systems, following strict healthcare privacy and compliance standards. As always, the caregiver will review and confirm the documentation.
